Drilling & Completions Engineer - Perth - Operator - Contract - Global Projects
An Operator in Perth is currently searching for a drilling & completions engineer with more the 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Working under the drilling manager, this role will involve leading and mentoring less senior engineers.
In order to be considered for this role, all candidates must have a background in all aspects of the drilling operations, right from the initial planning of a project through to the well construction and drilling campaign.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience as a drilling engineer with a particular emphasis on offshore drilling projects
- Field experience as a site engineer or supervisor
- previous experience devising drilling and completions strategies and implementing quality procedures.
- 15 years plus of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Bachelors degree or higher in engineering
- Ability to demonstrate preparing and planning documents, contracts and tenders for drilling campaigns along with the planning and design of wells.
- Experience working on Australian offshore projects (either office or site based as an engineer)
- Ideally 5 years of experience in deepwater projects
