Offshore Drilling Supervisor - Perth - Contract - Operator - Deepwater
A global operator is currently searching for a day drilling supervisor ready for their upcoming drilling campaign. Not only will the offshore day drilling supervisor be involved in exciting offshore projects involving floaters for deepwater drilling, but you will also be surrounded by a proactive management team.
The drilling supervisor will be responsible for the execution of the drilling operations, supervising drilling contractors and ensuring a safe and environmentally conscious work site. An understanding of how to manage mud, fluids, cementing and pressure's is key, as is the ability and previous experience in deepwater drilling.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore oil and gas projects.
- 5+ years of experience as a day drilling supervisor
- Recent experience working on projects involving floaters on deepwater projects
- Effective communication skills with an ability to interact with subordinates and managers at all levels
- History of leading a team of staff, consultants and external contractors
