| About RAPID: In a move to expand its petrochemicals business and further spur the growth of Malaysia’s oil and gas downstream sector, we are building a new integrated refinery and petrochemicals complex in Southern Johor. The new development, to be known as RAPID (Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development) will comprise a crude oil refinery, a naphtha cracker that produces ethylene, propylene, C4 and C5 olefins, a petrochemicals and polymer complex that will produce differentiated and highly-specialized chemicals. | ||

Responsibilities: | ||
Drives and implements the development of refinery and petrochemical complex architecture by adopting and integrating project planning strategy with Technical, Commercial, Finance, Interface Management, Venture Lead, Legal, HRMA, PMD and third parties on Refinery, Olefins & Derivatives, Specialty Chemicals, Central Facility and Infrastructure in order to ensure this strategy are timely adopted and implemented for safe, quality and cost-effective RAPID complex project execution. | ||
Requirements: | ||
Skills & Requirements i. A Bachelors’ Degree in the following disciplines: - Mechanical Engineering ii. Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in managing greenfield refinery and petrochemical projects. iii. Work experience in Project Engineering, Process Engineering, Project Planning & Control, Central Facilities and Infrastructure including Marine and Logistics AND/OR iv. Work experience in product knowledge (petrochemical), business planning & commercial development, Production Planning (including knowledge in Linear Programing) in refinery and petrochemical plants, planning & executing Supply Chain and Logistic Management and JV Management. | ||
