Material Planner
Riau - Batam

Responsibilities:
  1. Check and review MTO Delivery Date (buyout items) / Master Schedule (loading plan). Summarize the new MTO (material checklist) base on SAP.
  2. Material planner to run MRP for individual part in SAP and make / buy decision
  3. Check stock available in system and inform warehouse personnel to allocated according project requirement and transfer back to free stock if any excess qty on going or completed project
  4. Request to purchasing to provide standard price and lead time of materials and provide form raw material part number request to Engineering to create raw material part number and link to BOM
  5. Responsible to releases purchase requisition in system (SAP) base on MTO and Master Schedule requirement.
  6. Issue waiver if any materials can be substitution and link to order BOM
  7. Follow-up to buyer to get the status of order and expediting the delivery (if required). Monitor materials status until it can be used for production.
  8. Pre-buying placement for long lead items bought at the beginning of project before the Bill of Material created / loaded onto the system. Or if it need to maintain safety stock level.
  9. Expediting – follow-up with relevant department to ensure engineering release on time, Purchase order place on time and that parts arrive / are made on time
  10. Ensure that all work is carried out in according with Aker Solutions Health & Safety regulation
  11. Make report weekly or monthly  to material planner supervisor 
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): SAP.
  • Familiar with oilfield products, especially the products related to API 6A, 16A and 17D specification 
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Batam.
  • Preferably Supervisor / Coordinators specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
