Project Planner
Riau - Batam

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure that the orders are keyed into SAP correctly in term of items and qty ordered and price and delivery dates.
  2. Responsible for generating project plan to meet customer delivery and quality requirement without compromising HSE.
  3. Arrange and chair kick off meetings as and when necessary to ensure everyone involved understand the project schedule and requirements and get the commitments from relevant department to ensure that the projects will be delivered on time.
  4. Responsible for tracking and updating project progress in details on daily basis and see opportunities to deliver the projects ahead of schedule.
  5. Detect problems that may cause delay in deliveries and propose alternative solutions. Escalate to the next level if the delivery to customer will be affected.
  6. Conduct weekly execution hub meeting to align personnel from relevant departments, highlight key points in his projects, get updates and commitments from execution hub members.
  7. Track project cost to ensure that the projects will be carried out within budget, detect deviations that could potentially cause cost overrun and alert the project manager.
  8. Identify the projects and items to be shipped and notify project administrator to create outbound delivery for shipping personnel to prepare shipment arrangement and documentation.
  9. Work with QA/QC to arrange third party inspection as and when necessary. Work with production planners and material planners to ensure the equipment are ready for inspection on the agreed date.
  10. Coordinate stack up testing with engineering, production planners, material planners and QA/QC.
  11. Prepare costing sheet for refurbishment orders and track the actual costs spent on the orders. 
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): Microsoft Project.
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Batam.
  • Preferably Supervisor / Coordinators specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
