Responsibilities:

Oil rig roughneck work conditions
The oil rig roughneck usually work long hours in all weather conditions on extended roster systems, usually as member of a drilling crew. The oil rig roughneck usually performs semiskilled and unskilled manual labor that requires continual hard work in difficult conditions for many hours.

Oil rig roughneck duties and tasks

The oil rig roughneck perform some or all of the following duties:
  • The oil rig roughneck assist in setting up, taking down and transporting drilling and service rigs and service equipment
  • The oil rig roughneck clean up drill rig area
  • The oil rig roughneck handle, sort and move drill tools, pipe, cement and other materials
  • The oil rig roughneck maintain drilling equipment on the drill floor
  • The oil rig roughneck manipulate sections of pipe or drill stem at the rig floor during drilling and during the removal and replacement of strings of pipe or drill stem and drill bit
  • The oil rig roughneck may drive truck to transport materials and well service equipment
Requirements:

Oil rig roughneck requirement

  1. Male
  2. Maximum age 30 years old,
  3. High Min: 167 Cm
  4. Diploma / Bachelor Degree majoring in Mechanical
  5. Having min. 1 years experiences Roughneck in Oil & Gas Industry
