Job description
- Giving advice to Project Management concerning contractual issues (esp. conditions and obligations) affecting the outcome in term
of financial, legal and scheduling aspects
- Coordinate, manage and control overall process of contractual administration
- Detect (anticipate w/ Project & Estimating team) variations & changes to the contract, and follow up claims and final account until
settlement and contract close out
- Review incoming/outgoings to protect Company's contractual position.
Required skills
Education
Bachelor Degree in these Engineering majors : Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or other equivalence
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in:
- Project and construction work/practices and project management.
- Managing (or other hands-on experience related to) construction or marine contract is an advantage
- Operational experience of contracts drafting is an advantage
Skills
- Understanding of project / construction aspects in Oil and Gas business.
- Know-how on common procurement process (preparation and evaluation), including applicable regulation commonly applied in Indonesia
- Know-how on interpreting and evaluating the contractual clauses (main, subs and supply) : in term of liability and risks vs. the contractual arrangement
- Knowledge of measuring, monitoring and evaluating project performance in respect of contractual obligation
- Conversant with FIDIC contract conditions or others international standard of contracts is an advantage
- Financial/budget and commercial awareness
