Position Overview:
The Senior Safety and Risk Engineer will be part of the Upstream DTU team working alongside the contractor during the FEED, Detailed design, fabrication and construction phases. The position will report directly to the Browse DTU Engineering Manager during the FEED phase running through until June 2012:
During FEED, the Senior Safety and Risk Engineer will be located overseas, in the first instance in Houston, however, with the potential for further relocation and maintain a broad overview of the health, safety & risk workscope and ensure contractor guidance and input is provided at all times in all aspects of health, safety & risk workscope. The role will involve some international travel principally to Europe and the maintenance of relationships with overseas stakeholders on a continuous basis.
Technical capability:
•Degree qualified Engineer with greater than 10 years experience in the offshore oil and gas industry with broad experience in multi discipline facilities engineering covering oil & gas process and utility systems. Applicant should have experience across FEED, detailed design and construction / execution as well as the scoping and technical management of work to third parties and integration with Company procedures.
