In Indonesia, INPEX is acting as Kontraktor Kontrak Kerjasama (KKKS) with BPMIGAS for many upstream projects since 1966. INPEX is the operator of Masela Block (Abadi project) offshore Maluku, Arafura Sea, Indonesia, that is now in the early stage of Abadi field development with floating liquefied natural gas concept for future commercial FLNG production.

Parallel with the activities, INPEX Organization is growing rapidly and currently we need the following positions:

Cost Estimator (C/044/PLC/03/2012)
Jakarta Raya 

Responsibilities:
  • Implement estimating standards, procedures and methods to compile consistent and comprehensive estimates and proposals;
  • Prepare / compile major Lump Sum or Target EPC oil and gas project estimates and be responsible for reviewing of estimates;
  • Understand project and contract requirements to ensure the estimate is in accordance with the contracting strategy. Develop the estimate plan accordingly;
  • Ensure that estimates are broken down into a suitable Project Cost Structure or Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to support Project Reporting;
  • Review appropriate sections of proposal to ensure alignment between the estimate and the proposal;
  • Perform change order estimates;
  • Assist project controls in transforming the estimates to a project controls tools after contract award;
  • Communicate the Basis of Estimate to the PMT;
  • Coordinate the integration and liaisons with the various stakeholders ensuring a consistent flow of information for the development of estimates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (preferred) or other appropriate qualification from reputable institutions;
  • Minimum 5 years of cost estimating experience on offshore oil and gas projects. Prefer experience on FPSO and/or LNG Plants;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill with fluent English both spoken and written.
  • Computer literacy
