The Pearl Gas to Liquids (GTL) project includes the development of offshore natural gas resources in Qatar’s North Field. Upstream, natural gas will be produced, transported and processed to produce 120,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of condensate, liquefied petroleum gas and ethane. Downstream, dry gas will be used as feedstock to produce 140,000 barrels per day of clean, high quality GTL fuels and products.

We are looking to recruit a Refractory Insulation & Painting Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
You will work with the Civil Maintenance Team in directing a team of contractors and technicians to ensure that the Insulation, Painting, Refractory systems are maintained in accordance with Shell and industry standards whilst ensuring safe, effective and optimal operation of the equipment. You will also be required to assist in the development of Insulation, Painting, Refractory work scope and planning for both shutdown and normal operating modes of the PEARL GTL complex.
In support of Qatar's aspiration to integrate nationals into the private sector, you will be required to participate in recruiting Qatari staff. In addition, you will be involved in the development of nationals by providing direct on-the-job experience, coaching and mentoring. You will also perform competency assessment, assist in identifying suitable training or skill building courses required to develop nationals.
Requirements: You must at least have a diploma in Civil Engineering with extensive years of work experience in Refractory, Insulation & Painting within a Petrochemical industry e.g. gas plants, refineries or chemical plant.
You will have proven ability to both work within, and lead teams in a multicultural environment, and must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Fluency in both written and verbal English is mandatory.
