The Pearl Gas to Liquids (GTL) project includes the development of offshore natural gas resources in Qatar’s North Field. Upstream, natural gas will be produced, transported and processed to produce 120,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of condensate, liquefied petroleum gas and ethane. Downstream, dry gas will be used as feedstock to produce 140,000 barrels per day of clean, high quality GTL fuels and products.

We’re currently looking to recruit Mechanical Integrity Inspectors.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
  • Assist in the development of mechanical equipment inspection activities based on Risk Based Inspection and Reliability Centered Maintenance techniques,
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's QSHE policy and guidelines for Inspection activities,
  • Ensure that inspection documentation / data are delivered,
  • Develop scope for the integrity inspection events of the installed mechanical equipment and associated piping systems, 
  • Ensure proper application of Equipment Integrity standards throughout the site, 
  • Assist in simple incident investigations as necessary, and
  • Assist with the development of Qatari nationals.
Requirements:
You have:
  • proven experience as an equipment or piping inspector in an operating or project petrochemical environment (e.g. gas plants, refineries or chemical plant),
  • practical knowledge of welding requirements and good understanding of material selection criteria, material identification and material degradation,
  • experience in execution of an RBI based inspection program through effective use of contractors were appropriate,
  • proven competency in troubleshooting and analyzing of equipment performance in regard to mechanical integrity issues,
  • developed skills in interpreting plant documentation and have knowledge of industry standards, and
  • been certified in one or more relevant NDT techniques.
You must have worked in a multicultural environment and must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
