Currently we have a contract based vacancy in our Jakarta/Gresik office as Supply Chain Analyst (08618)
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader and shall be responsible for:
1. Managing and providing a professional service for the procurement, contracting, supply, materials or process development.
2. Compliance with government and corporate guideline, policies and procedures.
3. Managing specific projects and initiatives.
4. Managing respective people and organization.
5. Compliance with Hess EHS, quality and project management procedures.
6. Managing relevant administration and report.
7. Audits.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
1. Managing and providing a professional service for the procurement, contracting, supply, materials or process development
(a) Under Team Leader/Manager direction, handle all stages of the Supply Chain process, communicating effectively with customer contacts, suppliers, contractors & other personnel, throughout activity cycle.
(b) In the case of tendering, under Team Leader/Manager direction handle overall tender processes, including determination of appropriate tender recipients using existing selection procedures. Evaluate proposals with the customer to identify the best business solution as opposed to the ideal technical solution or the lowest price. Draft proposals to management and Bid Committee documentation.
(c) Develop working relationships that motivate suppliers and contractors to collaborate & deliver level of service and to facilitate the speedy and effective resolution of issues.
(d) Maintain communication with customers, keeping them informed of any necessary changes to the specification/terms of service with the supplier/contractor.
2. Ensuring compliance with government and corporate guideline, policies and procedures
In managing and handling procurement process as stipulated in 1.a and 1.b above, the incumbent shall ensure that the process is in-line with government and corporate guideline, policies and procedures.
3. Managing specific projects and initiatives
(a) As assigned by Team Leader/Manager, work with customers to understand business issues and requirements to fully define outputs required from the Supply Chain project.
(b) As appropriate opportunities arise, and in the light of own knowledge of the market place and the customer s business issues, offer alternative methods and specifications where other "fit for purpose" options exist.
(c) Plan and schedule work activities (typically 3 month timeframe), within prescribed parameters, to manage own and colleagues time.
4. Managing respective people and organization
Ensure the implementation of team work and cooperation and flow of communication and information within and inter department.
5. Compliance with Hess EHS, quality and project management procedures
(a) Ensures that the work location is in a safe and environmentally friendly manner in line with Hess standard s and target s.
(b) Optimum delivery of the Safe System of Work ensuring at all times Hess safety standards are adhered to in a relation to safe methods of working.
6. Managing relevant administration and report
(a) Managing relevant reporting and administration work based on the needs of the respective organization (including data recording, correspondence, etc. - based on the function of this position).
(b) Ensuring the confidentiality of the company s documentation.
7. Audits
(a) Audit preparation (BPMIGAS, BPKP, corporate).
(b) Attend to audit queries.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in oil and gas company (KKKS).
• Professionally qualified, or working towards membership (eg CPM, CIPS or equivalent).
• Posses BPMIGAS Procurement certificate (PTK 007).
Technical Skill:
• Demonstrated understanding of the customer s business issues.
• Customer feedback, value of recommendations made.
• Proactive and efficient management of the Supply Chain process.
• Efficient, timely and effective tender management.
• Resolution of issues.
• Projects completed on time.
• Quality of ideas initiated and improvement ideas implemented.
• SAP system literate.
Basic Skill:
• Computer literate.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
Other requirement:
• Willing to relocate to Gresik.
