ENGINEERING JOBS
On behalf of a rapidly expanding drilling contractor in Stavanger, We are looking for a Senior QHSE Engineer for a staff position.
Some of the duties include:
•Familiarize himself/herself with Ocean Rig& HES&Q system and carry out his/her work in accordance with the applicable procedures and instructions
•Verify the implementation of Ocean Rig's HES&Q?system
•Give input to Ocean Rig/Rig Owner yearly HES&Q Audit Program and carry out HES&Q audits at the onshore office and offshore where applicable
•Take part in HES&Q audits performed towards the project(s) by Clients and/or Authorities
•Co-operate with the SVP HES&Q when upgrading the HES&Q?systems in accordance with requirements put forward as a result of audits performed by Clients and/or Authorities.
•Assist in HES&Q audits towards Vendors, and in evaluation of Vendors' HES&Q system/programs as requested by SVP HES&Q
•Co-ordinate and administrate all activities requested and provided by Occupational Health Service provider (relevant for applicable project/area of operation)
Skills/Experience Required:
•Educated to degree level preferred in a science or engineering discipline
•Experience in Quality Assurance (Q) and Health, Environmental and Safety (HES) related work.
•Be able to work systematically and independently
•Be able to work systematically and independently
•Excellent knowledge of English language both written and spoken
