| Job Description | 1. Job purpose & Scope:
Provides guidance, leadership and strategic direction to Construction & Campaigns Team for planning and executing minor projects and special campaign activities at Zirku/Zakum in a cost effective and timely manner to ensure facilities operational availability and continued equipment integrity.
2. Principal Accountabilities:
Plans, supervises and coordinates the activities of assigned personnel in Construction & Campaigns Team. Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by management for the position. Reviews/ participates in establishing 1 and 5 year plans for projects and special campaigns for all Zakum/Zirku facilities. Ensures/establish performance standards and support to team members to facilitate delivery of performance objectives.
Develops detailed scope of works for projects and campaigns incorporating operating authority requirements, FC’s, Engineering Support Team packages and integrity work requests. Develops execution plan and resources requirements for PSIM remedial repair packages.
Liaises with Site Maintenance Teams to optimize resources utilization for shutdowns, projects and campaigns including manpower, marine spread, etc..
Develops commercial strategy for planned activities including setting tendering strategies, pre-qualifying contractors’, and lump sum contract services.
Secures required materials and equipment for planned activities including timely issuing of long lead PR/MR’s to ensure timely availability.
Closely coordinate with site teams for the supervision/control the execution of projects and campaigns. Follows up and ensures completion of post project/campaign close out report.
Ensures activities synchronization so that production targets are not compromised and ensure integrity and certification of plant and equipment is maintained.
Participates in developing standards and techniques of maintenance to optimize availability and cost.
Prepares budget for projects and campaign activities and exercises control over expenditure.
Works inline with HSE regulations and HSE Management systems and ensures compliance to the same by sub-ordinates and by contracted crews/contractors.
3. Organizational Relationships (Work Contacts):
Reports directly to Maintenance Manager and supervision of team members.
Regular contacts with Site Managers / Site Team Leaders to discuss preparation and execution of planned works.
Regular contacts with other Division Team Leaders, supports units including CM, Engineering Teams, LG, etc…
Works under broadly defined objectives and overall supervision.
4. Independence of Operations and Decision-making Authority:
The Team Leader directly supervises his Team to ensure projects / campaigns are executed to the best engineering practices and agreed milestones to meet operations deadlines. |
