Job Description

The individual will be accountable for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the Offshore Platforms for the Tangguh Expansion Project. This is a management role within the Tangguh Expansion Project team and the role reports directly to the Gas Production Facilities (GPF) Project Manager. The GPF Programme Team Lead will lead and direct project a multinational team of discipline engineers, project engineers, HSSE and construction teams to ensure the safe design and quality build of the new facilities. The role will involve close coordination with drilling and pipelines Project TL to an ensure integrated delivery of the Offshore GPF facilities.

- Ensure the safe design and quality build of the offshore Gas Platforms for Tangguh Expansion
- Lead the project team through engineering, procurement, construction and installation to safe execution in line with Tangguh Expansion project performance standards of safety, quality, schedule and cost
- Demonstrate HSSE leadership by example. Set the highest standards of personal and process safety across the GPF Project and ensure procedures and systems are in place to sustain them
- Ensure clear measurement and reporting systems are in place to monitor project progress and foster a culture of openness within project team and contractors
- Represent BP's standards and expectations to the EPC contractor and sub-contractors and ensure that high quality contracts are implemented to ensure successful project deliver
- Recruit, develop and maintain a high quality multi-disciplined GPF project team and ensure the project meets with the requirements of BP's CVP (Capital Value Process) at all stages
- Ensure continual clarity on priorities and provide the overall context for GPF project within Tangguh Expansion
- Manage internal and external communications and interfaces for the GPF project
- Coordinate closely with drilling and onshore facilities project teams to ensure clarity of scope and seamless project execution planning
- Ensure that BP's project assurance processes are implemented across the GPF project, and that regular reviews are carried out to ensure compliance
- Act as a delegated Single Point Accountability that ensures the delivery of GPF platform Package is within the framework of Project Capital Value Process

At minimum Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline from reputable university

- A minimum of 15 years relevant experience in major oil and gas capital projects, at least 8 years at project team leader level
- Experienced in managing major EPC work scopes ($US>200MM) for a client or PSC company, preferably offshore
- Proven track record in the engineering, fabrication and installation of offshore platforms and pipelines.
- Experienced in managing contractors in the design and installation of major offshore facilities
- Experienced in the implementation of assurance processes to manage large capital projects
- Ability to demonstrate effective project management and leadership skills in multi-national teams
- Proven track record in setting expectations and delivering high standards of HSSE performance
- Good understanding of business drivers and the ability to align project goals
- Advanced understanding of costs (capital, operating, life cycle) and estimating techniques,
- Proven track record in the performance management of Contractors responsible for major capital work scopes in the Oil and Gas industry
- Experienced in application of a staged gate project management process, and engineering technical practices.
- Able to engage and work with operations personnel, stakeholders and parallel project teams
- Strong communication skill in English and Bahasa Indonesia
