The Abadi field is a large gas discovery located some 350 km east of Timor Island in Indonesian waters and 350 km north of Darwin, Australia. It lies adjacent to the northern international boundary with Australia, in 400–800 m water depth. The Masela Production Sharing Contract (PSC) was awarded to INPEX Masela as Operator with 100% interest in November 1998. The discovery well, Abadi-1, was drilled and completed in late 2000. INPEX has been planning for the development of the field through application of a 2.5mmtpa Floating LNG installation for a Stage 1.

The project is starting the FEED (Define) Phase of the Stage 1 FLNG Development, whereby the SURF FEED will be performed by a single Contractor and the FLNG FEED will be a design competition between two Consortia with the successful FEED Consortia proceeding through to EPC of the FLNG facility.

The Full Field Development (FFD) is to enter into Concept Select Phase during 2012 which will entail formation of a Full Field Development Team and implementation of Offshore/Onshore Surveys and Concept Select Consultancy Contracts for screening of multiple development options, including large scale FLNG.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all activities/processes related to Stakeholder Management and Communication in the Masela Project Management processes.
• Manage the establishment of project communication strategy to ensure positive stakeholder management and positive/ timely information flows to all stakeholder groups.
• Manage the identification of communication needs for the different stakeholder groups and establishment of corresponding communication management/plans.
• Manage the coordination of the building of project information data base and the process of designing and structuring the communication addressed for different communication needs:
  • Choice of communication methods/delivery,
  • Choice of communication media,
  • Choice of communication content/materials.

Requirements:

• Male or Female
• Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years experience in the hydrocarbon and/or Oil & Gas industry of which at least more than 10 years exposed to operations.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill with fluent English both spoken and written.
• Honest and loyal to the job
