Progressive are currently working with one of the Perths largest
Operator’s that is growing quickly in the global oil & gas
industry. The company offers a rich portfolio of experience and
opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be capable of providing both operational/engineering support for ongoing operations and well engineering design input for field development conceptual planning. The near-term focus will be planning and engineering work for the 2012-13 exploration drilling and early design/engineering work for 2014 development wells.
Qualifications:
Engineering degree required.
A minimum of 10 years experience in drilling operations/engineering
Experience with floating drilling operations is required.
Experience planning, developing operational procedures and executing the drilling of high pressure and high temperature wells
Excellent teamwork skills are required and excellent communication/ presentation skills are beneficial.
Must be able to pass and maintain offshore medical and safety training requirements as well as subsea supervisor level well control certification.
Preferred Deepwater experience
Understand and experience in FEED
