Our client a privately held oil and gas firm in Austin, TX is seeking a Production/Operations Engineer.
This role supports the Operations group goal of managing day-to-day activities for certain Company assets through timely and maximum production, operational improvements, exploitation, and cost reduction. This position conducts evaluations of assets, recommends and implements short and long term plans and budgets, utilizes financial statements to control LOE costs, develops and oversees production surveillance and diagnostic techniques, and promotes the application and implementation of best practices to enhance the existing production portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and possess substantial, sound reservoir and operations experience.
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience
- Ideal candidate must be entrepreneurial, a team player, and a leader who has the ability to conceive, direct and implement successful projects
