Due to increased operations, a large international oil field
service company is currently seeking Pore Pressure Engineers for their
Houston, TX location. This company is well- known world-wide and
operates in over 85 countries. They are known for their strong internal
growth program and competitive compensation packages.
The Pore Pressure Engineer position is an analytical role that requires well-site visits to examine data. They will be responsible for collecting data, calculating fracture gradient and real-time pore pressure, as well as issuing summary reports to Clients and Sub-Surface Teams. This is an interactive role that combines technical analysis with teamwork.
The candidate for this role must have a Petroleum Engineering or Geomechanical degree, and at least 5 years of experience in drilling operations. They should have some on-shore, as well as off-shore, experience and thorough understanding of the drilling process. LWD experience is desired, but not a requirement.
