Drilling Engineer - Perth - Operator - Contract
Are you a Drilling Engineer looking for a long term contact? Is your experience with mainly on offshore projects? Well this could be the opportunity for you!
One of our good clients in Perth is currently searching for a Drilling Engineer on a 12 month contract. The right candidate will have between 5 and 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry (ideally in offshore projects involving floaters). Candidates will also need experience working for an operator (either directly or through a consultancy). Site or field based engineering experience is beneficial but not essential.
In order to be considered for this role, all candidates must have a background in all aspects of the planning of a well, including taking the campaign form planning stage through to operation.
Requirements:
5 - 10 years of experience as a drilling engineer with a particular emphasis on offshore drilling projects involving floaters.
Previous experience in well planning, devising drilling strategies and interfacing with different teams
Experience in ERD, multilateral and HPHT wells
Bachelors degree or higher in engineering
Ability to demonstrate preparing and planning documents, contracts and tenders for drilling campaigns along with the planning and design of wells.
The right to work in Australia including either Australian Citizenship or PR.
