Responsibilities:
1. Study and evaluate specification and requirement 2. Design systems that meet customer technical specification 3. Propose alternative design configurations/ solutions as options whenever possible 4. Provide all Engineering documentation related to the Project which includes but not limited to VDRL, BOM, FDS, Test Procedures as per specification and requirement. 5. Conduct FAT locally or overseas 6. Keep abreast with latest telecommunications technology to meet customers’ demands 7. Ensure proper documentation in accordance to ISO 9001 standards Requirements: 1. Diploma or Degree in Telecommunication/Electrical/Electronic 2. 2 to 3 years of experience in designing and engineering of Telecommunication Systems for the Oil & Gas Industry, Systems include PABX, PAGA, VSAT and TVRO, LAN, GMDSS, Conventional/ Truck Radio Systems and Microwave Radio Links. 3. Fresh graduate will be considered for trainee role 4. Familiar with current Rules and Regulations concerning Telecommunication installations for Marine, Oil & Gas Industries. i.e. SOLAS, MODU code, ATEX, IEC, etc 5.
