Job description
How would you take it further as an Engineer?
As a leading offshore engineering & construction services provider we can offer an interesting, varied and intensive working day. In Norway we have 4 offices: Sandvika, Stavanger, Haugesund and Orkanger. The working environment is social, informal and operational. Our working language is English.
We are currently looking for Specialist / Senior Engineers - Dynamic Analysis for our office in Stavanger.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and supervise dynamic analysis engineers
- Perform and review dynamic analysis work, including:
- Flexible riser recovery and installation analyses using Orcaflex
- Lifting analyses using SIMO and/or Orcaflex
- Preparation and review of analysis reports.
- Preparation and verification of study reports related to lifting operations and flexible riser installation
- Participation in tender work related to subsea installation
- Participation in relevant R&D work, as required
- Offshore installation on Technip construction vessels, as required.
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree (M.Sc., B.Sc. or equivalent)
- Good skills in English as a working language
- Good oral and written Norwegian is an advantage
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience from dynamic analysis works for Senior Engineer
- Minimum 8 years of experience from dynamic analysis works for Specialist Engineer
- Knowledge of model testing and CFD analyses is an advantage
The work location for this position is Technip Norge offices in Jåttåvågen, Stavanger.
