This is an exciting opportunity that exists for an experienced
development geologist in the high-performing Unconventional Gas within
prolific Australian basins.
As a key member of this team you will provide expert Development Geology evaluations of assigned Basin Unconventional Reservoir Group fields with an emphasis on focus on resource assessment and proof of concept for unconventional reservoir plays. This role will require you to drive and deliver projects for the team whilst dealing with a variety of stakeholders and disciplines, particularly drilling and completions.
With Geoscience tertiary qualifications, you will have solid industry experience with hydrocarbon E&P. This will be supported with skills in data collection and interrogation of unconventional reservoir data and some experience with Shale, Deep Coal and tight gas sandstones reservoirs. Petrel static reservoir modelling experience will be advantageous, however not specifically required.
You will have strong leadership and mentoring skills which allow you to work collaboratively with engineering disciplines on well design and fracture simulation optimization whilst also imparting your professional knowledge into the business.
