Job purpose:
Flexible Pipeline Design Engineer

Reporting lines and interactions:
- Functionally reports to: Flexible Pipeline Design Manager
- Operationally reports to: Lead Engineer – Project Team
- Directly supervises (operationally): N/A
- Key interactions (internally, externally): Other departments, Clients

Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria): dimensions of the job

Flexible Pipeline Design Engineers are tasked with engineering of flexible pipes, including pipe structure design and in place analysis such as hydrodynamic catenary analysis or flowline behavior analysis.

In addition Flexible Pipeline Design Engineers are involved in the follow-up of manufacturing activities of flexible pipes.

There will be opportunities to go offshore, and to take part in procurement activities for ancillary equipment.

Profile:

Must have:
- MSC in engineering.
- Good verbal and written English
- Minimum 3 years in similar job or working environment, however recently graduated engineers may also be evaluated in case of a relevant study profile

Nice to have:
Naval Architecture or other hydrodynamic knowledge/experience.

Main accountabilities:
This role will suit an engineer seeking to cover the combination of design, follow up of fabrication and subcontractors and installation of flexible pipelines. Professional growth is assured for engineers capable of delivering cost effective, high integrity solutions.
