Job purpose:
Diving Engineer at our office in Stavanger.

Reporting lines and interactions:
- Functionally reports to: Diving Manager
- Operationally reports to: N/A
- Directly supervises: N/A
- Key interactions: Diving team

Job scope:
- Assist Diving Manager and Diving Technical Manager in preparing for any diving activities conducted in the Norwegian sector on behalf of Technip Norge AS.
- Participate in the update process of compliance matrices for the current regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in the evaluation impact of any new or revised regulations on Manned Underwater Operations for the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
- Assist project engineers in developing diving procedures, diving method statements and tender activities.
- Participate in diving projects’ risk analysis processes.
- Assist and participate the diving manuals for controlled distribution on the vessel.

Profile:
Must have:
- Minimum 5 years as a diver in offshore diving operations.
- Preferably 2 years supervisory experience.
- Relevant experience from similar operational activities.
- Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Offshore Diving Discipline work.
- Be familiar with and have comprehensive knowledge of QHSE principles, regulations and contract requirements relevant to Norwegian diving operations offshore.
- Basic course for Safety Delegates and Working Environment Committees is an advantage.
- Good skills in English as the working language.

Nice to have:
- Preferably Mixed gas diver and/or Mixed gas supervisor and / or.
- Good oral and written Norwegian is an advantage.
- Relevant experience from similar operational activities.

Main accountabilities:
Develop and implement diving familiarization and mobilization programs for diving projects.
