ENGINEERING JOBS
- Responsible for the definition of functional design requirements, as well as surveillance of construction, integration, testing, commissioning, and installation of subsea control systems, ensuring adherence to project requirements and schedule.
- Responsible for interfacing of subsea and topside controls equipment with umbilical systems, platform processing control system, installation/intervention vessels, and downhole completion hardware, such as subsea safety valves, tubing hangers and test trees.
- Directs and assists in the development of testing, installation, operation, and maintenance procedures of controls equipment and systems.
- Coordinates the work of consultants to design, manufacture, and test subsea controls equipment.
- Participates in Interface and HAZOP, HAZID activities to identify and properly manage and mitigate risks during design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities
- Ensures controls components and systems meet PAI's performance & reliability standards.Ensures project HES goals are achieved. Provides technical support for permitting/regulatory activities.
- Makes technical presentations to partners and attend operational and technical meetings.
- Assures the compliance to regulatory requirements in area or responsibility.
- Elaborates contracts for services providers and consultants when needed.
- Must abide by all QHSE policies and guidelines

Deep water subsea facilities or operations experience. Experience with HPHT systems is desirable.
Familiar with design, fabrication, testing, and installation of control systems for oil production equipment and their interfaces.
Experience with Project management of contractor activities.
Knowledge of basic risk analysis techniques.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out multiple-step instructions; to deal with non-standard situations with several variables.

Desired Skills & Experience
Written and verbal fluency in- English
- Portuguese (desirable)
