Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Integrity Engineer located in Houston, Texas, Perth, Australia, or Aberdeen, Scotland.

This position provides reliability and integrity expertise to the development and implementation of the SERIP Asset Integrity Management processes within Global Upstream (GU). Key focus is on completion of the development of the GU SERIP Asset Integrity Management (AIM) program and transitioning from development into a deployment phase. The incumbent will work collaboratively across multiple organizations to provide asset integrity expertise to identify needs, prioritize efforts, and/or train business unit individuals and teams in their efforts to deploy the Asset Integrity Management Process. The position also requires diversification into support of ongoing integrity initiatives such as RBI, RAM, RCM studies and other reliability and integrity processes to improve reliability of existing assets and built reliability into capital projects.

Position Details:

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
  • Work collaboratively across multiple organizations to provide asset integrity and reliability expertise to identify needs, prioritize efforts, and/or train business unit individuals and teams in their efforts to deploy the Upstream Asset Integrity Management Process.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively as a team member with a wide variety of internal and external peers and clients.
  • Adapts well to customer needs and expectations.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.

    Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or other related discipline.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in RBI and integrity management in lieu of degree.
  • Strong background in reliability and integrity technology and processes, particularly Asset Integrity Management, and Asset Risk Management,or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and industry requirements regarding Asset Integrity such as the CCPS guidelines and Process Safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of reliability and integrity processes and tools such as: FMEA, RCA, RAM, RCM, RBI.
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships with customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-discipline teams.
  • Demonstrated behavior that fosters and builds teamwork.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to make effective and convincing presentations to a wide range of management, technical, and non-technical levels in client organizations world-wide.
  • Ability to develop and maintain steady contacts between customers and ETC.
  • Able to effectively handle multiple assignments for different OpCo customers simultaneously, set realistic goals, and complete commitments on schedule.

    Preferred Qualifications
  • API 510/570 or National Board commission preferred.

    Relocation Options:Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.

    International Considerations:Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
