Position Summary: Pipeline Engineering Technical Advisor assigned to one or more major subsea development projects.
 
Additional:
  • Works as senior member in team providing leadership and direction.
  • Frequently is INTECSEA representative in Client meetings.
  • Plans, develops and directs project team in the execution of large projects or several small projects that may include interfacing with outside agencies and contractors.
  • Generally reports to a Project Manager on large or complex projects but serves as Project Manager on smaller, conventional projects and studies.
  • Has a basic understanding of the nature of international projects where local culture and practices may require variation in execution style.
  • Provides guidance and technical assistance to subordinate engineers in complex situations.
  • Prepares comprehensive technical reports and reviews written works by others for validity and soundness of conclusions.
  • Has extensive experience in, and maintains an awareness of current industry practices, equipment and relevant projects.
  • Serves as an internal resource in the areas of leadership, mentoring and training.

Desired Skills & Experience

Technical Requirements:
  • Subsea pipeline background that involves piping stress analysis using a program like OffPipe.
  • Ability to travel offshore during construction phase, 10% of the time maybe less.
  • Must be able to demonstrate full project management capabilities, survey, permitting in the GOM, design, procurement, contracts, field construction, cost.
  • Plan, schedule and conduct Engineering during; Conceptual, Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design and Installation phases.
  • Provide technical expertise to your team and our clients.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Ability to lead at all levels within the organization.
  • Proven track record of exceeding performance metrics.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field + 15 years relevant experience.
QHSE Requirements:
  • Part of the overall development team for the INTECSEA EMS, including the development of HSE processes and guidelines.
  • Learns & actively promotes the INTECSEA EMS and HSE in accordance with the HSE Guideline for INTECSEA Personnel.
