Responsibilities: 
You will be working within a professional and dynamic working environment and a team of like-minded Engineers. Our client is looking for a talented Lead Weight Controller responsible for the delivery of weight control of the FLNG Facility by developing procedure and reporting in accordance with government regulations, classification society rules, industry codes and practices in order to satisfy company BOD requirements, and liaise closely with Topsides, Hull and Turret and Mooring engineering.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
  • At least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
  • At least 15 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. At least 10 years experience in Weight Control and at least 5 years experience as Lead Weight Controller.
  • Experience in weight control of offshore structures and or FPSOs and working knowledge of ISO 1990-5: 2003 Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries - Specific Requirements for Offshore Structures - Part 5: Weight Control during Engineering and Construction.
  • Working knowledge of the use and manipulation of computer programs applicable to the weight control engineering of FLNGs and or FPSOs
