Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate and maintain effective Client relationships, as a represent of our client.
- Maintain effective relations within the Piping taskforce and with other disciplines
- Communicate, both verbally and in written form in a professional manner, using email, letters, minutes of meeting and/or reports.
- Prepare piping designs of moderate complexity using 3D design systems, such as SmartPlant 3D and PDS.
- Prepare Piping Material TakeOffs
- Generate piping drawings such as isometrics, location control plan from the 3D design systems
- Travel, as required, to ensure the successful execution of project and/or department goals
- Approximately 5-10 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with Front End (FEED and detailed design project (EPC) execution.
- Construction experience is a preference.
- Proficiency in English, additional German is a preference
Basic Job Requirements
1. 5 years of related experience
2. Two-year technical degree or equivalent preferred
3. Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the intermediate use of spreadsheets
4. The use of Discipline Specific software such as Intergraph SmartPlant may be required

Job Description
As Piping Designer, you prepare piping designs in a 3D model environment. Besides piping, you ensure that equipment is modeled according the vendor data. You assist the piping design specialist and design supervisor in the preparation of piping studies and ensure that these are correctly integrated in the 3D models. You actively communicate with other disciplines to ensure that all interfaces between piping, equipment, instrumentation are correct.Key responsibilities
