ENGINEERING JOBS

About BP North Sea:BP has been a major investor in the North Sea region for over 40 years, and currently operates 38 fields in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) and the Norwegian sector. We currently produce 250-300,000 barrels of oil and gas a day from the North Sea business. We have around 3,000 employees working across our onshore and offshore assets, from the West of Shetland to our head office in Aberdeen.

The North Sea remains an important region for BP and we will sustain a significant business here for the long term. Our current future focus is on high value assets with growth potential and we are currently investing over £1.5billion per annum in a variety of exciting field development projects. To support our existing activities, as well as our major new projects, we are looking to recruit over 300 additional employees into our North Sea business.

In addition to current activity levels BP will be beginning operations on Clair Ridge along with the Kinnoull and Devenick subsea tiebacks as well as the £3 billion Quad 204 redevelopment of the Schiehallion and Loyal fields. Drilling operations will involve semi submersible, heavy duty jack up, drillship and platform based operations, exploration, appraisal, development and decommissioning and this in conjunction with a strong focus on training and personal development makes the North Sea an exciting and rewarding place to work.
