Responsibilities:
* To assist the head of the business on all ONSHORE OIL AND GAS TANKS AND TERMINALS and INDUSTRIAL projects in terms of technical, commercial and project management aspects
* Monitoring the cashflows, project finance and budgets, subcontractor payments, related matters and ensuring that the operational P& L for the business unit is healthy and keep the BU head and the management informed of any deviations from the original planned budgets
* Work closely with the Topaz Engineering Management Team and ensure overall organizational goals are met
* Coordinate bid support as/when required
* Develop lump sum / EPC capabilities within organization
* Coordination of all Project Execution Plans (PEPs)
* Functional management and coordination of all Project Managers and Project Engineers
* Ensuring all projects have in place a rigorous Control of change to PEPs processes (Variations, growth, scope changes, acceleration/deceleration of plans, etc.)
* Implementation of the Project Risk Ranking tool
* Determine, plan and provide Project Management resources to all scopes of work
* Ensuring competency and training requirements are met for all Project Managers and Project Engineers
* Outlining activities, resources and budget requirements for the annual Topaz Engineering Business Plan
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent. An academic background comprised of a degree from a recognized institution in Project Management
* Minimum Experience: 15 years experience in Project Management related activities of OIL AND GAS ONSHORE ( TANKS AND TERMINALS ) AND OFFSHORE FABRICATION & ERECTION (jackets & platforms)/ CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Fujairah, UAE ( 180 Kms north of Dubai)
* Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Engineering-Oil/Gas, Engineering-Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent
* Job-Specific Skills:
o Experience in handling end to end project management functions of large Upstream and Downstream EPC projects from bid stage to execution and handover stage
o Experience in managing project finance , budgets, cashflows and overall P&L of multiple large EPC upstream projects
o Familiar with International Standards for design, engineering, construction and operations of Multidiscipline projects e.g. API, ASTM, BS, DIN, Shell DEP’s etc
o Conversant with Project Planning, Project design, Costing, MIS reporting and system software's such as MS Project
o Experience in construction site, man-power and equipment deployment requirement and fabrication of piping, structure, vessels etc., NDT and quality control system & heavy lifts.
o Experience in managing a team of different technical skill sets assigned to various projects and sites in different geographies
* Generic Skills:Proven Project Management experience in large fabrication and upstream & downstream EPC projects
