One of Azerbaijan's largest exploration and production companies has begun recruiting for Drilling Engineers and Senior Drilling Engineers to work on their Azerbaijan operations.
These positions, a limited amount, are open to both local Azerbaijan citizens AND experienced expatriates.

Successful candidates will need to fulfill the following criteria:
* At least first degree level in engineering.
* Confirmable previous work experience in drilling engineering roles either in an International Oil Company, a National Oil Company or a Service Company.
* 9 to 12 years of drilling engineering experience as a baseline should generally provide the level of expertise required. Special exceptions will be made for fast developed engineers with the relevant skills.
*Skilful and demonstrable knowledge in well planning, risk weighed cost estimating, cost management, contract management, hydraulics, torque, drag and casing wear prediction & modeling, casing design, mud system analysis, bit optimization, directional/BHA planning, drilling fluids and cementing, developing well operation summary programs, recommended practices, technical limit implementation and post analysis of operations
*Maintain interface with other discipline teams (such as Subsurface, completions, contracts, logistics, Well Interventions, Production teams etc.) to coordinate, clarify and resolve effective well planning.
