Job responsibilities
- Become expert in the use and application of reservoir engineering and reservoir simulation software
- Work with customers to identify areas in which existing software needs to be developed to better meet their needs
- Work closely with development team to make sure that the delivery is meeting clients needs
- Review and test software during and after development
- Participate in development of marketing and promotional materials

Previous experience and competencies
- Bachelors degree in an oil and gas related discipline or Bachelors degree in a numerate discipline and Masters degree in an oil and gas related discipline
- 5 – 8 years experience in Reservoir Engineering / Reservoir Simulation
Additional skills:
- Good communication skills in English (spoken, written and graphical). Other languages an advantage.
- Analytical and methodical
- Ability to work independently and with other people, including interacting with customers to understand their needs and expectations of their reservoir simulation software
-Working with the software development team to translate the needs and expectations of the customers into successful software
