Position requires BS in Engineering (preferably Petroleum Engineering) with 7 years minimum experience including detail studies of waterflood fields. Experience studying properties located in Southern Oklahoma is preferred.
Responsibilities include using petroleum engineering principles to solve problems and identify enhancement opportunities. Recognize and develop drilling and work-over opportunities (including horizontal wells) using reservoir development practices. Must have experience in production and waterflood optimization and surveillance (CO2 flood experience is a plus). Should be capable of improving the profitability of a field using reservoir analysis. Ability to understand typical well-logging suites. Familiar with oil and gas reserves and economics. Good overall practical oilfield operations knowledge. Maintains an awareness of evolving industry practices and emerging technologies as they apply to maximizing the economic recovery of the company’s oil and gas assets. Demonstrated initiative and results oriented team member skills. Good written, verbal, and time management skills.
