(JOB) Senior Geoscientist - Oslo

Excellent career opportunity for a Senior Geoscientist to join an ambitious global Exploration and Production company, based in Norway's capital city Oslo. A key focus is to explore and develop opportunities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

As part of the existing Exploration team, key duties include:

- assessing regional petroleum systems, existing licenses and New Ventures
- Risk assessment through regional play trend and prospect level interpretation
- Integrating 2D and 3D seismic data - developing and maturing an exploration prospect portfolio.
- planning for exploration, appraisal and development programs
- Involvement in license rounds and evaluations

The fundamental requirements for the position include:
- Norwegian citizen or fluency in Norwegian
- Relevant Degree in Earth Science (Geology or Geophysics)
- Strong subsurface experience, dealing with seismic, well and production data
- Proven history doing regional evaluation work and license evaluation
- Knowledge of seismic acquisition and processing
- Strong network and knowledge in the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry
- Leadership experience is an advantage
