Job - Early phase SUBSEA Engineer

The Early Phase Systems Engineering group is responsible for Drilling and Production positioning in the early phase of new subsea fields. The group is engaged early in the field development phases and has a leading FEED capacity. It consists of interdisciplinary personnel with experience in developing subsea field solutions. The system engineer shall optimize the subsea field production by providing expert advice and also by identifying new products and technology.

Reporting to Engineering Manager of Drilling & Production Australia,
Responsibilities:
• Building relationships with clients to enhance Company’s position in early field phases
• Work closely with sales and tendering team
• Identify solutions for subsea fields for optimized production
• Identify the need for new products and technology to enhance position as a total system provider

Requirements:
• B.Eng in mechanical engineering or petroleum engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in system engineering /subsea
• Experience with subsea control systems, subsea power systems, manifold and connection systems or subsea trees
• Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
• Commercial mind set
• Team builder, leader and motivator
• Travel 10 to 20% of job to countries like Norway, Aberdeen and so on

BONUS TO HAVE:
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or Total Quality Management
• Additional languages are an asset. Norwegian is a highly valuable asset
