Responsibilities:
Providing reservoir engineering support to the multi-disciplined Tech Team in the evaluation of resource base, reservoir quality, and completion methods to optimize the potential of the Fayetteville Shale.
Working with the geologist and geophysicist to relate reservoir quality to the geologic and geophysical attributes of the play.
Working with the production engineers to examine fracture geometry and how it relates to well performance.

Reviewing current drilling and completion practices in the field and how they relate to performance.
Examining all available data to develop methods of improving predictability and profitability.
Reservoir simulation matches to evaluate well performance in the field as well as run cause and affect scenarios to investigate methods of improving well performance.
Making recommendations as part of a multi-discipline team to management and the drilling teams as to best practices and alternate methods of optimizing development of the play.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Preference B.S. in Petroleum Engineering)
10 years industry experience with 5 plus years direct experience as a reservoir engineer working either tight gas sands and/or shale plays. Work to have included use of Eclipse dual porosity / permeability reservoir simulator, petrophysical analysis (logs and cores), decline curve analysis and drainage estimations. Familiarity with MEPO a plus.
