Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
Essential:
BSc or equivalent in a related geo-science discipline (geology, physics or geophysics) or mathematics
A minimum of 3 years experience in visualization and analysis of 3D seismic data in domestic and international deep-water settings with focus on interpretation of AVO and impedance inversions
A minimum of 3 years mapping and interpretation experience
Working knowledge and experience with visualization software
Working knowledge and experience with model-building software
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative with minimal direct supervision
Good communication skills; able to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
Effective report writing skills that meet both internal and external quality standards
Good analytical skills; high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Good problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and resourceful; able to work on own initiative, applying appropriate theory and practical solutions to problems
