Project Expeditor – Static/Rotating Equipment/Mechanical/Tankage (Based in Saudi Arabia)
Responsibilities:
* Expediting activities of purchased items by approved vendors to meet project milestone schedules.
* Desk expediting activities with vendors for submission of engineering deliverables, obtain production schedules, continuous surveillance of each purchase order and to suggest appropriate actions where slippage occurs.
* Coordinate with inter-discipline engineers, project team, agency of inspection and shipment to meet the delivery schedule in line with project needs.
* Main point of contact for coordination work among vendors, company and clients.
* Source vendor location when required to review and identify issues related to progress and suggest action plans for the progress recovery.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience as project expeditor for static/rotating equipment, mechanical, and tank in the Oil and Gas industry.
* Experienced in handling different phases of project, preferably in Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning.
* Must be willing to travel frequently as and when required for project needs
