Who is available and interested in joining the mining industry. The successful applicant will greatly assist in the planning, design and management of a large scale Iron Ore project, not to mention playing a large part in the assessment of the stability and risk’s on site.

Who is available and interested in joining the mining industry. The successful applicant will greatly assist in the planning, design and management of a large scale Iron Ore project, not to mention playing a large part in the assessment of the stability and risk’s on site.
REQUIREMENTS
• Tertiary qualification in Rock Mechanics, Engineering Geology or Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Geotechnical Engineering related experience such as internship or vocational program.
• A reasonable understanding of Vulcan or similar 3D modeling package.
The applicant should be enthusiastic about all aspects of geotechnical engineering and have a passion for the mining industry. This role will be very hands on and will give you an open door to endless opportunities. Your management and communication skills will be greatly developed and you will have the chance to deal directly with contractors and consultants. A positive attitude and a want to grow are essential in this role. There are opportunities for both residential and fly in fly out roles.
