ENGINEERING JOBS
THE ROLE:
This is a contract position based with a Houston operator working on site as a completions supervisor on a high level offshore project. You will be reporting to the drilling manager for the GoM and oversee a long term effort for smooth completion and production. This is not a deep water role but all offshore experience is welcome.
Rotations and working arrangements are flexible for the correct candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To break it down day to day…
• Running and implementing rig procedures
• Reporting on well test results and liasing with office based design engineers
• Taking responsibility for gravel packing and sand control
• Health and safety and risk assessment
• Performance reports
• Post operation close
• Completion related contract tender preparation, bid evaluation and contract management (in conjunction with Global Supply Chain).
THE REQUIREMENTS
To take on this position you will ideally have the following experience and profile…
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• At least 15 years well-site experience with a minimum of 5 years offshore
• Offshore completion experience.
• Sand control experience.
