INPEX CORPORATION is an oil & gas exploration and production company based in Japan. The mission of INPEX is to provide a stable and efficient supply of energy to our customer by exploring and developing oil and natural gas resources throughout the world. In Indonesia, INPEX is acting as Kontraktor Kontrak Kerjasama (KKKS) with BPMigas for many upstream projects since 1966. INPEX is the operator of Masela Block (Abadi project) offshore Maluku, Arafura Sea, Indonesia, that is now in the early stage of Abadi field development with floating liquefied natural gas concept for future commercial FLNG production.
Parallel with the activities, INPEX Organization is growing rapidly and currently we urgently need:
Sr. Production Engineer (Code: PED)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in petroleum, mechanical or chemical engineering with minimum of 15 years of experience in oil and gas industry
- 15+ years with at least 10 years in the Oil and Gas industry; Participate in technical meetings of the non operator projects; Acting as proxy in the case of GM absence; Conduct the monitoring of the daily progress of development/production operational activities of the non operator projects; Carrying out petroleum engineering evaluation of existing joint venture projects and new ventures prospects; Monitoring and collecting information or data of Indonesian E&P activities including unconventional gas; Liaising with Operators and with Tokyo Head Office for petroleum engineering matters of the non operator projects; Constructing and maintaining Petroleum Engineering data base; Planning and implementing education programs for the subordinates
- Prior production engineering working experience with an operating company
- Fluency in English both spoken and written
- Computer Literacy. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to work well in a multicultural team and having high motivation, good leadership, effective team player, discipline, and a dynamic and good personality
