ENGINEERING JOBS
A major Oil and Gas Operator is currently seeking a Pipeline Engineer to maintain all pipeline and gathering systems.
The main responsibility of this role is to provide technical engineering support to CSG operational and associated production facilities, pipelines and piping systems. This will include operational support, engineering, project implementation requirements in terms of SIB, emergency brake down and efficiencies.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Providing technical input and support on modifications and maintenance/operating requirements insuring compliance and alignment to industry standards are met at state through to international level are met
• Supporting and developing engineering and operational systems with the focus on development and optimizing systems that are effective and functional for the CSG business; Including QA systems, Project handover/delivery, MOC and operating procedures
• Involvement in commissioning and rectifying non-compliant project items
• Defining and resourcing engineering asset needs, which include developing, recruiting and retaining staff
• As required, assist site with Emergency break down maintenance
• Verify and approve all modifications on new installations
• Oversee the development and implementation of Engineering systems and standard that reflects best practice and support company objectives
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant HSE legislation, codes of practice, standards, policies, operating procedures and work instructions and developing a strong HSE culture within the Engineering team
To be considered for this role candidates must have:
• Prior experience in mechanical engineer with pipeline design and review recognition – REPQ preferred
• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• The ability to identify priorities and resource to ensure delivery in a timely manner
• Willingness to travel onsite in Western and central QLD areas
• Strong communication skills
