ENGINEERING JOBS

A major Oil and Gas Operator is currently seeking two (2) Contracts Administrators to support the contract management and administration of the Pipeline contracts for a major LNG project.

The main responsibility for the Contracts Administrators is to ensure that all contractors adhere to the terms agreed in the Responsible Contracts and that the internal policies and procedures are followed as necessary. The role plays a key part in the administration of all procedures relating to performance of tendering, contract evaluations, contract administration and claims negotiation.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Utilize resources covering tender, award and administration of construction related contracts for Pipelines
• Contribute to the evaluation of tender and quotation responses
• Contribute to the drafting of provisions and negotiation of agreements for those construction contracts
• Assist with the tender processes including development of tender lists and detailed work scopes for all new construction related contracts as appropriate
• Establish and continuously improve construction contract management and administration processes
• Maintain records for contractual correspondence and performance
• Establish bid lists, prepare tender packages, and evaluate sealed bids

To be considered for this role you must have:
• 3+ years experience in Contract Administration
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, law or commerce
• Experience in process and claims management on high value EPC projects
• High level of commercial understanding coupled with an advanced ability to identify and report on risk and its mitigation
• Working knowledge of MS Office
