We presently operate two blocks in offshore Peninsular Malaysia at PM3 CAA and PM305/314. PM3 CAA has two main operating areas known as PM3 South and PM3 North. PM305/314 operations are centered on the South Angsi Platform.
The objective of the Operations Department are:
Responsible to organize and direct the engineering, procurement and construction activities and to provide overall planning and organization of "minor" projects and plant modifications from the Project Identification Phase through Project Execution and Closure Stages and to ensure that the defined business benefits and objectives are fully realized and that the engineering and asset management goals and expectations are achieved in a safe, economical and timely manner.
To manage a team consisting of construction group including piping discipline, document control, and draughting personnel in an efficient manner while maintaining company safety standards and asset technical integrity.

The Senior Facilities Engineer will be required to become familiar with the following:

- To maximize oil and gas sales,
- To minimize the cost of operating while maintaining the efficiency and integrity of our facilities,
- To develop the potential of our personnel to ensure continued safe and efficient operations.

Principal Accountabilities:
Management of Project / Facilities Modifications
- Leads Construction Group under Facilities and Engineering Department.
- Establish priorities within operation schedules for planned modifications.
- Reviews approved Approval for Alteration (AFA) requiring facilities modifications to determine potential problem areas and participate/arrange HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Analysis or any safety review session as required.
- In conjunction with Discipline engineers, participates in developing engineering concepts and strategies for all projects under Senior Facilities Engineer's responsibility. Prepare and manage Statement of Requirement (SOR) to be included in Work Request for Detailed Engineering work by Engineering Consultant engaged by Company..
- Prepare and monitor the Project Execution Plan reflecting project scope, major project milestones, schedules and project budget.
- Prepare project implementation strategies.
- Plan, implement and monitor projects to ensure compliance within budget, quality, and safety, regulatory and company requirement.
- Oversee draughting services within the Facilities and Engineering Team
- Oversee Operations Department's Document Control Center and ensure documentation system is complying with TML standards.
- Verify and endorse AFA closeout documentations to ensure As-Built and up-to-date information and accurate drawings, documents and reporting systems of the facilities concerned.
- Responsible as project engineer for new flowline project covering all facilities. In-charge of budgeting, project execution, monitoring, reporting and closeout of expenditure report (AFE).
- Manage and supervise Construction Team
- Review Work Requests from Offshore Operations with Construction Coordinator and Supervisors and establish feasibility and work priorities.
- Review Work pack and Procurement Paperwork prepared by Construction Coordinator
- Review redline mark-ups and ensure drawings are updated.
- Work closely with offshore operations to ensure construction activities are planned and executed effectively, including offshore site visits.
- Conduct regular meetings and reviews with construction team on work progress versus plan.
- Responsible for Topside Maintenance Services Contract and ensure full utilization of manpower on major shutdowns.
- Manage and supervise Contractors in the provision of works and services as per the SOW and in line with Company's objectives.
- Manage and monitor contract(s) including HSE performance, schedule, costs and change order management.
The Senior Facilities Engineer will be required to become familiar with the following:
- TML HS&E Policy
- TML HS&E Principles
- TML Operations, Maintenance and Inspection Philosophies.
- Procurement system
- Finance reporting system
- TML HSEMS, specifically corporate and asset Operations and Maintenance procedures within the HSEMS and SAAMS.
- Petronas Technical Standards relevant to the role.
- Petronas PPGUA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a related Engineering discipline.
- 10 years experience in an operations support or technical role with a major oil company or related industrial company.
- Computer literate and conversant with all standard MS desktop applications.
- Ability to interpret drawings and diagrams; operations, maintenance and logistics plans and reports, as well as manuals and procedures specific to the asset.
- Ability to demonstrate all the necessary written, verbal and computer communication skills necessary to develop, amend and comment on documents meaningfully in the English language, and to converse.
- Have a working knowledge of industry best practices, and the TML procedural controls within the HSEMS/SAAMS relevant to the Facilities Engineer role.
- Familiar with International CODES and STANDARDS such as API, ANSI, IEE, NEMA, NFPA etc.
- Interact with personnel at all levels both within TML and other organizations.
- Possess good written and spoken English, strong interpersonal skills and a team player
