A major Oil and Gas Operator is currently seeking a Logistics Manager to lead and develop a logistics team for a major natural gas project in Papua New Guinea.
The main responsibility of this role is to ensure all logistics activities are carried out in full compliance with applicable Corporate and in-country legislation, standards and policies, whilst also lead and promoting continuous improvement philosophies in the critical areas of HSE.
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Ensure clear alignment of logistic deliverables and organizational requirements in support of seismic, exploration, development, construction , commission and operational phases
• Work with Supply Chain to develop effective contracting strategies for each logistics element for all sanctioned work
• Proactively lead the logistic optimization, sourcing, operational deployment and resource allocation roles forth PNG logistics activities
• Develop, review and monitor the strategy underpinning all contracts to ensure continuity of supply at optimum values
Minimum requirements:
• 10+ years in developing & managing integrated logistics requirement for remote oil & gas locations
• 5+ years in managing logistics contracts, including Standards and specifications, formulating KPI’s and contract performance management
• Have good general knowledge of contract law, corporate finance procedures and insurance
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business
