A privately owned Oil and Gas construction company based in Aberdeen are actively on the market sourcing an experienced Quality Assurance Manager.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, key accountabilities include the effective management of an ISO 9001/API Q1-certified quality assurance program and continuance of related API Monogram Licensing conditions. Management of the quality control function within a fabrication environment via existing QC staff is included in the job specification.
Applicants will have a proven track record of quality management within the offshore oil & gas industry and will be totally conversant with all aspects of the ISO 9000 series of quality standards and the third-party certification process.
The successful applicant will also be qualified to implement internal/external auditing programs within this context, attending company’s other regional bases as required.
It would be advantageous if applicants had direct experience of API licenses and associated specifications/system requirements.
Applicants should possess Membership of the Chartered Quality Institute or similar recognized professional body and qualification to IRCA Auditor/Lead Auditor grade or equivalent.
This is a full time position
