A world leader in project management, engineering and construction for the energy industry is currently looking for Flexible Pipe Estimating Engineer to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The candidate will be directly reporting under the Tendering Manager.
Main Accountabilities
1. Overall responsibility for the estimating of a flexible pipe supply project
2. Understand the project scope of work, client's requirement, BOD, project milestones, and specification from the supplied bid documents
3. Liaise with the various disciplines to ensure continuity and consistency
4. Prepare and issue RFQ to potential suppliers
5. Prepare and issue RFQ to the factory
6. Compile costing information in a bid tabulation document and update databases
7. Be the focal point of contact for the factory
8. Responsible for compiling all the costing information in the Estimating tools.
9. Issue the estimating sheet and circulate it for approval
10. Prepare the input for the commercial offer
11. Attend project lessons learnt sessions and update database based on feedback from factory and projects
12. Maintain and further develop the existing database system
13. Maintain and further develop the estimating tool
