Our Client is a Perth based Exploration Company. With production in the North West Shelf and interests in major development projects worldwide, we are currently sourcing a Senior Geoscientist with a high level of geophysical and overall geoscience expertise in the identification, quantification and resource and risk assessment of the hydrocarbon potential of particular areas.
Specific Requirements:
* Experience with all aspects of maturation and definition of prospects and leads to drill ready stage
* Well synthetics
* Velocity Modeling, depth conversion and depth mapping
* Attribute analysis and 3D visualization
* Proven prospect generator
* Familiar with QI geophysics
* Australian basin offshore experience preferable
* Farm out experience, management and JV reporting would be advantageous but not essential
Experience Needed:
* Good understanding of exploration risk and uncertainty assessment principles and practice
* High level of technical expertise in seismic interpretation and analysis including reservoir characterization
* Minimum of 8 years industry experience, with a broad knowledge of the principles and practices of basin and play analysis and prospect generation.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be hard working, motivated and open to new ideas.
